1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Vadya ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Software is developed and operated by The Eastern Dark ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase or during a valid trial period, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on a single computer for personal, non-commercial use. This license does not transfer any ownership of the Software to you.

3. Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial of the Software with full functionality. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you must purchase a license to continue using the Software.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The Software is available under the following plans:

  • Monthly — billed monthly, auto-renews until cancelled.
  • Annual — billed annually, auto-renews until cancelled.
  • Lifetime — one-time payment, perpetual license.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are listed on our website and may be updated from time to time. Price changes will not affect active subscriptions until the next renewal period.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Your license remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation.
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time in the current billing period.

For lifetime licenses, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase by contacting [email protected].

6. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
  • Copy, redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software.
  • Share your license key with others or use it on multiple machines simultaneously.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Software.
  • Use the Software for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

The Software, including its code, design, graphics, and documentation, is the intellectual property of The Eastern Dark and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE EASTERN DARK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke your license and terminate your access to the Software at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy any copies in your possession.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
